I enjoy the class. I find the information pitched at a beginner level. I find en plain air difficult to manage my paper and paint and water and brushes etc. Made very complicated as I?m recovering from a broken wrist.

The instructor was excellent under challenging heat conditions, he got around to everyone with help and what students could do to better understand the tenique. and everyone walked out of class with a finished piece. I would highly reccomend him to anyone. Very good comunicator There were those in the class that thought the event was more like a " paint and sip" class. They didn't get that we were they to learn

My creation weaves together the soulful verses of Persian poet Omar Khayyam, declaring, "I cannot endure this world without wine," with the enchanting imagery of ancient Iranian ceramic jars from the Qajar dynasty. These jars, adorned with hand-painted flowers on a warm, sandy base, were crafted with love for storing or serving wine.As I reflect on these aged vessels, each stroke of paint whispers untold stories. They are not mere objects they are bridges to our past, crafted by hands weath

Davey?s Bay is a small shallow bay, one of several adjoining the township of Mount Eliza. It is used mainly by fisherman and the yacht club. I love to paint our beautiful Victorian coastline from the Mornington Peninsula to the Great Ocean Road. I love the ruggedness of the bluffs, rocks and cliffs to the sandy beaches in between.

Spring is in the air. I have recently been doing some daffodil paintings. For this painting I did a wash and instantly saw the potential for more daffodils and space for the lamb peeking through them. One of my former instructors always said, ?Listen to your painting.? This is exactly what I did here. Possibly, the idea of a lamb was inspired by the season of Easter as well.
